Just An Update

Hello All,

Well, nothing new here. It still has been the same old thing...Waiting patiently for Greggory to get home from training while it pours and pours and pours outside. He will get here late Thursday night (hopefully), and I have been passing time trying to get the house cleaned. It has taken a lot of pull to get me up and about sweeping and mopping the floors. Those two things are what I hate the most. I would rather do laundry, dust, dishes, and more only to get away from sweeping and mopping. Lately, I have been watching all the seasons of The Girls Next Door, and it has been making me crave cake like no other. It seems like every episode contains this delicious looking cake, and I wish I could have a piece right now. Luckily, my birthday is on Monday and hopefully someone will make me one! Actually, I already know...Justine is making me one, and I can't possibly wait any longer! I finally found the theme I wanted to do for my picture collage. I did the reception from our wedding. It turned out amazing! They both hang in the hallway. Here are pictures of them:

Yesterday, Justine and I went back to Nove. I didn't buy anything, but I did go for my sign I got made last time. It turned out so good! I love it so much. They only way I could think to hang it with was wire, and it looks kinda tacky, but oh well. If anyone has any better ideas, let me know! So, I went back for the sign, and Justine went to buy some gifts for family. We both had a good time driving out there and just having a girls day! And, I know Rauwolf is not an Italian name, but who cares, WE ARE IN ITALY!!

Jack has been doing great! I know he is going to go nuts once he sees Gregg walk through that door on Thursday. And then, Gregg will be giving him a bath and that excitement will disappear for a bit. haha. He is going to the vet next week to get his yearly shots, and I know that will not be fun. Oh, he is not liking these storms come to find out. He freaks out; kinda like Marley on Marley and Me, but I have not seen blood yet..luckily! Anyways, here is another picture!

Okay, Ill try and give more updates as they come along. I miss everyone! Until next time, later!

The Guest/Music Room

Okay; well, everyone has been asking about more pictures. And, I told them they will be up when I officially get the house cleaned and some what put together. I am still in the process of buying things, but I thought I would go ahead and add more. You guys already saw our two bathrooms, and our bedroom. So, now it is onto the guest room/music room.

Easter

Sorry about the late posting, but I thought it would be better late than never. Easter was a hit! Gregg and I started off sleeping in that morning until around 11:00; it was a nice vacation for us! Gregg and I got some amazing treats in our Easter Baskets..a lot of thanks to my mom for giving us a lot of it! Around one, Justine and Taylor came over for a big Easter meal. We really didn't have the traditional foods like everyone else does because Justine and I have some very picky boys on our hands! So, the meal considered of: 7 layer dip and deviled eggs for appetizers. marinated steaks, yummy cheesy mashed potatoes, Gregg's special spinach, and strawberry cheesecake for dessert. We were so full by the end of the meal because we ate so much! The rest of the night consisted of movies, board games, and WoW (that was the boys part).

Also on this Easter day, Gregg and I got a new member of the family. We got a puppy! It is a male Yorkshire Terrier. He is brown and gray and named Jack. Gregg was so for calling the dog panda, but he was already use to the name Jack..thank the lord! Jack is very very skinny due to being mis fed from his previous owners. He is also very scared right now and Gregg and I are trying to get him comfortable. The potty training is very hard considering the other family only let him out of his crate for an hour a day. We are trying very hard to give him a better home, but its hard when he is use to being in his crate the entire day and night.

Design On A Dime

Hello Everyone, Today started out cold and very very foggy, but now the sun is starting to shine and in the 70s. I am a very happy camper right now. I started my Spring cleaning and it went some how okay. As I clean one spot and go to another, it seems like the spot I just cleaned gets dirty again. First off, I dusted everywhere, went through all my clothes and donated a lot, swept and moped the floors, and I even went out to mop the balcony. I want to get the balcony looking good, and I plan to start my planting as soon as Greggory leaves for his training. I am making this my task because he will just sit there and tell me what I am doing wrong. So, as soon as I am done with that. I will post pictures.
We are having Easter here at the Rauwolf house and I am getting excited. We invited Justine and Taylor over since they don't have their family either to celebrate. I plan on making a big meal and hoping it turns out great! I promise I will get pictures of that night as well.

Now, on to my title! I am having a designer's challenge and do not know what else to do to the room...that is Greggory and my bedroom. I am posting pictures for you so you can see what it looks like so far. I can't paint the walls without approval so I kind of want to steer away from that. (Not worth it when we will only be here one more year) However, I can hang anything as long as it can come down. So everyone, put your thinking caps on and tell me your ideas!! And, I am kind of on a budget..just like everyone else in this world. So, lets make it resonable. Email them to me if you want, its: amanda.rauwolf@yahoo.com

Every Girl Needs Her Closet

Every Girl Needs Her Closet...Unfortunately, I don't have mine. This post is for all my sisters who complain that their closets can not hold all of their things or its too hard to organize. Well, take a look at what I have to work with. I have all my clothes jammed packed in this tiny closet. The bin holds shoes and socks, and I also have my prized shoes stacked up on the right behind the clothes. Up top is scarves, belts, and sweatshirts that took up too much room when hung. At home, I thought my closet was a very small closet, and I seemed to manage with it okay. However, now, I want my walk-in closet. So, take a look girl's, and be thankful! My dream closet is Carrie Bradshaw's closet. I showed it to Greggory and told him that's what I want!

Long Time, No Post

Hey Everyone, Well I am long over due for a post. I am sorry I have been slacking and I will explain my reason for that. About two weeks ago, I got corrected by an MP (Military Police) and they pretty much were the start of my Italy experience going down hill. One bad thing happened after another. I was so ready to leave this place. There were many things I was missing from the states that I could not get here...mostly, it was convenience. So, I spent most of my days cooped up in the house watching movies constantly. Poor Gregg, Bless his heart, tried everything to get me to be happy again. And, man did he succeed. I am back to my old self except with a new look. I finally got the courage to go get my hair colored. It definitely does not look like what I expected, but its not horrible. I go back and forth wondering if I can pull it off. I have a mixture of three colors in it: Red, Dark Brown, and Golden Brown. One night Gregg actually let me drive his car and he wasn't he even drunk...But don't get too excited; it was only down the street. I thought he was joking, but he actually let me sit in the driver's seat. Oh, and could only do it at 10:00 at night on our way to get pizza because no one else was on the road...Goodness, boys and their cars. This weekend has been going pretty great so far. Gregg has a four day this weekend, so we are trying to make the most of it! Thursday night, we went bowling with a bunch of friends and that was probably the best fun I have had in a long time!! Friday I had to go on post to help Chosen Company (Gregg's work) to sell Easter Baskets for our Company fundraiser. After that, Justine and Taylor invited us over for dinner and after that we played Loaded Questions. Today is just a day of relaxing...So, really nothing new here! I will post pictures next time, Sorry guys! Until next time, Later!!
