Worse Than Danny Boy

First off, I want to say, "I MISS MY TRAILBLAZER MORE THAN EVER!!" I am dedicating this post to my Italian car. Gregg bought me a very low priced car so I can easily get around the Vicenza city. Isn't my husband just the sweetest? As much as I say he has the brain of a boy, he truly does know how to take car of me. Now back to the car; and when I say low price, I mean low price. I was spoiled when Gregg bought me my trailblazer. Sadly, I had to leave it in Memphis because we were only allowed to send one car over to Italy for free, and of course, that was the man's car. So now, my trailblazer is sitting very cute and comfortable in good ole Memphis with my Mom and Dad watching over it closely. Now, I drive a 96' Ford Fiesta. I guess you could say I have a "Party Car." When you look at it though, it is far from being a "Party Car." It has basically been torn apart and glued together ghetto-rig style. None of the windows can roll down which makes it hard to go through many tolls, gate checks, etc. My radio does not work, so I have nothing to listen to on my 30 minute drive into town. I have no inner door on the driver's side which makes it hard to open the door, and sometimes it doesn't even open and I have to crawl through to the passenger side. Plus, it is a stick. When I came over to Italy, I have never set foot on the driver's side of a stick shift car. I had to learn, and Greggory was always too tired from work to teach me, so I had my good friend Justine teach me. I am not the best at it, but I seem to manage. Anyways, here are some pictures of the "Party Car!"

Well, here I am, 8th day in to Gregg being gone for training. I have been trying to keep busy by shopping and watching movies with my best gal, Justine. As much as I love having girls time, its not the same without Greggory here. We both agree we miss our hubby's and that things are not as much fun without them. With all my purchases, the house is finally turning into what I had pictured. I am finally focusing more of decorating in Greggory's and my bedroom. It seemed so cold and empty. However, I added some pictures and finally bought a down comforter which I am in love with. I don't know how I have gone this long without one. Mom, you need to go buy one...NOW!! Now, I am just sitting at home watching Madagascar 2 which I am liking so far! Oh, and I know I am late, but I want to send a shout out to my aunt, "Happy Birthday Sha! I love you and miss you!!" As for everyone else, I wish I could tell you each individually how much I care and love you, but I can't. So if you happen to look at this blog often. You truly are special to me and I can't wait to see you again. I miss everyone deeply! Hope your week and weekend turn into bright and shining ones! Until next time, later!

Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead. ~Mac McCleary

I'm digging the ghetto-rig style car! I have to say that you are now a truly newly married young-un. It only gets better from here on out.
